Recycled Materials

Less resources

Recycled Polyester (rPet) uses less natural resources than regular polyester while retaining many of its durable characteristics, meaning it’s a great choice for long life products but far less intensive to produce. rPet is less damaging for the environment & reduces landfill

rPet has:

  • 90% less C02 footprint than nylon

  • 75% less C02 footprint than polyester

  • 50% less C02 footprint than organic cotton

Less landfill

Eight million tons of plastic enter the ocean every year. If we continue at this pace, by 2050 the ocean will have more plastic than fish.  By using recycled polyester, we are finding ways to prevent non-biodegradable materials from ending up in landfill, or our oceans, and giving them a new life.

Material Certifications

We work with a number of partners to certify our materials including:

-REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals): Our fabric and trims meet REACH standards which mean they are non toxic and free from harmful chemicals.

-FSC ( Forest Stewardship Council) Responsible forestry, helping to care for future forests: All our labels are FSC certified
