Travel tips from our founders

Lucky enough to be travelling this summer? Our founders Kate and Amy give you their top tips for travelling with babies and toddlers. Follow us on @wearefinnson for more tips this Summer.

  1. Pack lots of snacks, toys and sticker books in your changing bag/flight bag for older ones for the journey, we got through most of our snacks before take off! Liewood do a great snack pot where they can help themselves, keeping them entertained for ages.

  2. A sling or a baby carrier is a great option for the airport, as is a travel buggy that can go in the overhead locker. We use a Babyzen Yoyo buggy, and a Carifit bay carrier which is lightweight and breathable.

  3. Feeding your baby before take off and landing will stop their ears from popping.

4. A Snoozeshade is a lifesaver for naps in the buggy. It’s black out and breathable.

5. UV swimsuits for little babies & toddlers are perfect for extra protection, and makes the day a little more worry-free!

6. Always pack an extra large muslin which can be used as a shade blanket and a comforter.

7. Save time searching for pacifiers and toys by using one of our Ottie or Una pouches to keep all your essentials in one place.
